Our History
We began the Léonie adventure in 2017. Since then, we have strived every day to offer traditional, simple, and elegant cuisine, hoping that everyone feels at home in our restaurant.

ince the 1940s, Restaurant Léonie has evolved with passion, growing from a small family run establishment into a renowned traditional restaurant in Biarritz, on the Basque Coast and far beyond.
Quality of products, refined flavors, respect for the seasons
That same spirit continues to guide the team today. Attentive to their loyal customers, Cécile and Maxime Giraud are committed to regularly evolving their offerings, all within a welcoming atmosphere.
As for the wine list, the selection showcases passionate producers from the Basque Country, Béarn, Gascony, and Bordeaux alongside delightful finds from the Languedoc, Pays de la Loire, the Rhône Valley, and Burgundy... plus a few surprises from Spain.
